Cat Cubie launches Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s One Day campaign

Scottish stars, mums, aunties, sisters, daughters and husbands have come together to front One Day, a new campaign from Breakthrough Breast Cancer to help save lives of women in Scotland with breast cancer.

The campaign is calling on Scots across the country to choose their own One Day online at oneday.breakthrough.org.uk, and commit to fundraising for just one day of Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s lifesaving research.

The charity funds the only dedicated breast cancer research unit in Scotland. It costs £2,200 each day for Breakthrough to find new and better treatments for breast cancer here in Scotland.

Supporting the campaign is an emotive short film featuring real people touched by breast cancer including Scottish comedian Susan Calman and former Gladiator and fitness fanatic Ali Paton. All have chosen their special day, shared their story and revealed their One Day wish for the future of the disease to inspire people to pledge their support.
