ScottishPower Foundation’s Library Energiser project has helped transform outdated school libraries to create welcoming reading spaces aimed at inspiring more kids to read more often.
Our Stripe bookworms on the ScottishPower team helped launch two newly ‘energised’ school libraries. Sandaig Primary School in Glasgow and Rowanfield School in Edinburgh were each awarded £2,000 to update their reading spaces.
With transformations complete, children’s author John Fardell helped us celebrate by headlining mini book festivals at each school with readings from his bestselling tales ‘The Day Louie Got Eaten’ and ‘Manfred the Baddie’.
A great tale to tell!
